Johnny “Neb” Nebulous joined us at rehearsal yesterday, and we could tell that something was really wrong. We were gittin’ things setup and reddy, and his head dropped. Ned sadly expressed to us that “she’s dead”. What!??! We’s expectin’ to hear a sad story of loss, and we’d proved comfort and support, but we learned that it was even worse. The trusted, faithful Washtub that provided so many low notes for nearly a decade was dead. Y’all… it is sad news, but trust us when we say that she did not suffer.
After a long day of searchin’, a new tub is in the works and gonna be ready for the show on Sunday, May 5th at Come and Take It Live when we are opening for Angelo Moore, the legendary frontman of Fishbone.
